Mansel Davies studied photographic art at the university of wales, Newport, graduating with first class honours in 2000. whilst building his reputation for hand-printed black and white prints he has now made the leap over the fence to digital photography and embraces the more versatile abilities of the more contemporary medium.
Mansel regularly exhibits his work in different galleries and 2009 will see his work hanging in Aberystwyth, Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.
Whether it be selling his work off the wall at his gallery base in Usk, Monmouthshire or photographing children and weddings the most important criteria for Mansel are to combine value for money with informality, whilst not forgetting attention to detail.
